Job Title: Boutique Manager (Full-Time, Including Some Weekends)

Job Purpose:
As Boutique Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of our flagship Belgravia boutique. You’ll lead the team to deliver impeccable customer service, ensuring that every client experience reflects the artistry and sophistication of the Neill Strain Floral Couture brand. In this role, you’ll oversee the boutique’s performance, from staff management and scheduling to overseeing our bespoke floral proposals for home installations, corporate displays, and events. The successful candidate will sit on our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in the business's growth and development. Your goal will be to create a thriving, efficient, and harmonious environment where both staff and clients feel inspired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily boutique operations, ensuring high standards of store presentation and customer service.
- Allocate staff resources, manage schedules, and publish rotas.
- Oversee orders and deliveries across in-store, phone, and online channels.
- Maintain accurate records of revenues and cash flow, providing regular reports to the Managing Director.
- Handle client inquiries regarding home installations, corporate displays, and events.
- Create floral proposals and manage invoicing.
- Maintain stock levels, inventory, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor and enhance staff customer service performance.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and conducting regular staff appraisals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail floristry, with prior management experience in a luxury retail setting.
- Advanced floristry skills and techniques.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for flowers and high-end design.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficient IT skills.
This role requires a motivated leader with strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive growth while maintaining high standards of quality and care within the boutique. Prior luxury floristry retail management experience is essential.
