Reemerging from the pandemic stronger than ever, Neill Strain Floral Couture has launched a completely new website together with a new collection of floral bouquets, exquisite glassware, planters and stunning arrangements especially for Summer 2021.  In this blogpost Neill introduces us to these exciting new novelties.

Belgravia Floral Boutique and Harrods Reopening

Re-opening our Belgravia boutique on April 12th after so many months of restrictions has felt like a rebirth for us at Neill Strain Floral Couture. When we were closed down during lockdown and later with the tight restrictions, I used that time carefully to review the business, to research, make changes, improvements and introduce new aspects that I probably would never have had time to do had we remained open.

Hence, I am absolutely delighted to have re-opened feeling stronger and better than ever, having rebranded our company, created a completely new website with a new summer collection, introduced many more exciting new varieties of flowers along with an incredible range of mouth-blown, hand-painted glassware that perfectly expresses the joy and brightness of the present moment… not just the summer season with the wonderful hot weather we have been enjoying but the general feeling of hope and a new start as we all look forward to returning to the “new normal.”

To celebrate the re-opening we created a lavish installation for the exterior of the Belgravia boutique. An arch of brightly coloured summer flowers centred between two massive arrangements is enticing our local clients - whilst also creating the perfect photo backdrop for Influencers in Belgravia to pop in once again, to relish our new displays with an overwhelming selection of fresh flowers including many new varieties, exclusive glassware and giftware, together with an increasing number of “ready-to-go” couture bouquets showcasing our exceptional summer floral collection.

London Peonies To Buy

We are in full Peony season at present, and what a Peony season it is! Thanks to our continued and expanding relationships with our exceptional growers, which these recent hard times has only reinforced, this year we have been able to source extraordinary new varieties of Peonies from a new grower. Every week we receive different varieties which persistently amaze me with their beauty and fragrances. You can order bouquets of up to 100 Peonies online (link), or pop in and see (and smell!) the magnificent displays we have at the boutique.

One of our Rose growers is also spoiling us with eye-catching new varieties and, in general, the quality of the flowers we have on display is truly exceptional. As you can imagine, overcoming new Brexit regulations for the delivery of fresh flowers has been challenging and we were grateful to use these Covid times to refine our delivery procedures. We have the perfect partner who guarantees us arrival of our personally selected and freshly cut flowers within only 24 hours of picking, and without any doubt we are the only florist in the U.K. to have achieved this.

New Website and Branding Launch

 Summer Flower Collections London

While we continue to offer our Florist’s Choice bouquets, we have introduced a new hand-tied bouquet and table arrangements especially for this summer - “Summer Sorbet”.

Crafted with magnificent Roses, Orchids, Hydrangeas, Delphiniums and other blousy summer blooms in an ethereal colour scheme, these bouquets have a completely new look if purchased with our mouth-blown, hand-painted glassware. In contrast to our traditional clear glassware, our new mouth-blown glassware is bright, colourful, and extremely unusual. The colour palettes, random patterns or flawlessly hand-painted flowers and fruits appear to melt into the fresh flowers conveying a semblance of serenity and breathtaking beauty. 

Bespoke Interior Planters

Three new fragrant planters join our summer collection: the wonderfully delicate Lily of the Valley, a luxury white Phalaenopsis Orchid and Stefanotis, also known as Madagascar Jasmine, with its climbing stems and clusters of scented white flowers presented in a hand-painted vase with a design of lemons and green leaves. All of these long-lasting planters make a lovely alternative to cut flowers.
