Visit Our Belgravia Christmas Window Display

The preparations for Christmas in Belgravia are in full bloom and the festive window decorations of our local businesses are a treat not to be missed. Neill walks us through the details of his Belgravia Christmas Window design for 2017.

Every year we create a fairytale Christmas display at our Belgravia boutique on West Halkin Street. This year is the third consecutive year that the Grosvenor Estate hosts a competition for the local Belgravia businesses to show their creative talents through their windows. Following this effort to encourage the boutiques to be more and more festive, Belgravia has become one of London's most exciting shopping areas combining the boutique experience with fine dining, stunning architecture and impeccable service.

In the past years we have styled gold and copper, traditional and contemporary style window displays, but for 2017 I decided to go with the current surge of very traditional with lots of green foliage, berries, baubles and lovely faux flowers.

Faux flowers are in vogue this Christmas. We have been decorating glorious Christmas trees with a fabulous variety of faux flowers in reds, gold, silver and other festive colours. For our Belgravia Christmas Windows, I used faux Roses, Poinsettias, Orchids and berries, shaped into a three-tier sphere design incorporating baubles, sprayed foliage, pine cones and lotus heads. Surrounding the windows are lavish garlands of Spruce, twigs and berries and, inside the windows, two stunning, sparkling wreaths above tall lines of shimmering baubles.

And to complete the design, we have our wonderful Christmas reindeer welcoming clients into the boutique!

The twinkling lights, the reflections, the beauty of the garlands against the black frame of the boutique, make this design even more magical.

Inside the boutique, of course, we have a magnificent selection of wreaths, festive planters and floral arrangements both tall and small, candle arrangements and garlands along with an impressive display of luxury Christmas tree decorations. In fact, it's not too late to order your own fully installed Christmas tree if you would like us to create a bespoke tree for you. So do pop in to the boutique or our concession at Harrods for some inspiration.
