Job Title: Assistant Boutique Manager (full-time, 5 days including some weekends)
Reports to: Head of Retail and Talent
Location: Central London
Sector: Luxury Retail Floristry
Job Purpose: To support and assist the Head of Retail in the daily running of the Boutique ensuring all the company core values and practices set out by the Company Director are adhered to.
You will be expected:
- To uphold the brand in all its manifestations and ensure it is endorsed by each member of the team.
- Consistently strive to maintain and improve the elite customer service standards for which the company is known.
- To help Team members achieve their potential, to excel in their creativity and technical skills.
- To be a motivating source of uplifting and positive energy, encouraging a display of collaborative spirit within the Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with overseeing the day-to-day running of the boutique.
- Ensuring all merchandise is presented to reflect our luxury brand aesthetic and that it is clearly priced.
- Overseeing the flower display presentation and stock rotation in order to ensure a consistent full, fresh display.
- Ensuring ‘ready-to-go’ ranges of bouquets, arrangements, planters and petite coutures are in full supply, are freshly maintained and beautifully displayed.
- Assisting with handling client complaints with a focus on resolving issues quickly and to client’s satisfaction.
- Ensuring daily flower price lists are displayed and available on request.
- Assisting with stock rotation, monitoring wastage and maintaining stock levels by reordering when necessary.
- Assisting senior management with invoicing, scheduling and staff training, when required.
- Assisting with creating Staff Rotas.
- Ensuring all staff members comply with Company dress code and are always well presented.
- Applying good housekeeping procedures and overseeing the general boutique presentation including the exterior.
Your profile:
- A recognised floristry qualification is preferable.
- Excellent knowledge of product and floristry techniques.
- A creative eye for shapes, textures and colours.
- Fluent written and verbal English language skills plus a good telephone manner.
- Proven experience in operational retail florist environment.
- Luxury retail experience is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Flexibility and a willingness to commit.
- Good IT and Computer literacy.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
