And yet another Valentine’s Day is approaching! With the outset of new decade I decided to give a new look both to our Belgravia boutique exterior installation and our Valentine’s Collection. We’ve added more vibrant colours and additional hearts to our exterior which we created with red Roses, cerise pink Hydrangea, purple and violet Sweet Peas adorned with Vanda and Cymbidium Orchids in tints and tones of rich ruby and aubergine. Luxurious and opulent in our quintessential style.

In search of the paragon of perfection for our Valentine’s Roses at a time when there are a lot of “old” Roses on the market, we pre-order from our favourite red Rose grower, Porta Nova, who carefully nurtures our Roses until just 2 days before Valentine’s Day, then select the very best blooms, pick and send them to us in Belgravia directly so we can guarantee the ultimate freshness for our clients. Here are images of some recent visits to the spectacular glasshouse and packaging area at Porta Nova with some of our team.
Red Naomi Roses, comprises bouquets of 6, 12, 18, 24 or 48 blooms hand-tied together with an exquisite mix of pink Wax flowers, berries and foliages including Eucalyptus, Pistache and Skimmia. The bouquets are presented in an elegant, tall, clear glass vase as this is the best way to show off the exceptional height (80cms) and stature of these extraordinary flowers. “Perfect Romance,” is in distinctive tones of red, pink and purple. Red Naomi Roses, Spray Roses, Vanda and Cymbidium Orchids along with Calla Lilies, Lisianthus, Astrantia and Wax Flower are blended together with exquisite foliage creating an opulent tapestry of colour and texture.
12 delicious Macarons from our lovely Belgravia neighbour, Pierre Hermé. “Rose & Oud” is the most intense fragrance in the collection of candles and combines the romance of the Rose with the sensuality of Oud making it the perfect choice for Valentine’s Day. Oud has a rich, warm sweetness to it reminiscent of balsamic. Highly complex and aromatic, it marries divinely well with the sweet floral scent of Rose, Jasmin and Geranium. Praline adds a hint of caramel and musk while the incredible richness of the base notes gives further intensity. The woody notes of Cedar, Sandalwood, Amber and grassy Vetiver combine with the earthy tones of Musk and Patchouli together with the sweetness of Vanilla and Raspberry.
Flowers For The Year. The first delivery on Valentine’s Day comprises one of our stunning Red Rose bouquets with a voucher explaining your weekly or monthly year-long gift. Once a week or once a month a delightful bouquet of seasonal flowers will be delivered directly to the recipient's home in the colours and style of your choice.
