Day One: Azure Elegance – A Mediterranean Welcome Party 

Our journey began with the theme of “Azure Elegance,” a sophisticated tribute to the timeless charm of the Mediterranean. As guests boarded Ilma, they were greeted by our curated floral installations, setting the tone for the voyage ahead. The serene blue hues of Hydrangeas, Delphiniums, Agapanthus, Roses and Orchids created an atmosphere of tranquil luxury, reflecting the iconic Ritz-Carlton “Memorable Blue” brand colour. The sail-away party on the deck was a celebration of refined elegance, with our florals accentuating the Mediterranean breeze and the soothing rhythm of the waves.

As the evening progressed, the mood shifted to a more sultry tone for the after-party, where we introduced deeper, midnight blues and purples. Dark Blue Hydrangeas, Delphiniums and Vanda Orchids added depth and drama in true Neill Strain Floral Couture style, while a balloon installation flanked the swimming pool Ritz-Carlton’s curating a striking visual statement against the twilight sky. Our collaboration with ELAN Artists ensured that the entertainment harmonised perfectly with the theme, making the first night aboard Ilma an unforgettable start to the journey.

 
Day Two: Scarlet Sands – A St. Tropez Beach Club Brunch

On the second day, we transported guests to the heart of St. Tropez with our “Scarlet Sands” theme. Inspired by the infamous Club 55 and Gigi Rigolatto, this beach club brunch was a radiant showcase of Riviera elegance. The bold use of reflexed Roses, textual foliage and ethereal grasses complemented by vibrant ceramics added drama and vibrancy to the event. 

Custom themed life rings which illustrated the theme, rattan umbrellas paired with rich scarlet and taupe hues, created a strikingly elegant setting that perfectly embodied the glamour of the Côte d’Azur. Adding to this visual feast, the ELAN Artists entertainers, adorned in matching theme colours, brought the atmosphere to life with their vibrant performances. These artists, elegantly dressed to complement the scarlet and taupe palette, moved gracefully across the pool deck, carrying decorative umbrellas that matched the event’s refined ambiance.

 
Day Two: Sunset Splendour - A French Riviera Soirée

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we unveiled “Sunset Splendour,” an enchanting soirée on the Marina Terrace. Drawing inspiration from the hues of the sunset, our floral decor featured tropical florals in bold sunset tones, including dramatic hanging Heliconias, Coral Sunset Orchids, Anthuriums, Tropical leaves and decorative fan coral. 

Guests, invited to coordinate their attire with the theme, were treated to a cocktail reception and a captivating cabaret performance hosted by ELAN Artists. The cabaret was a showcase of talent, featuring elegantly costumed performers who embodied the vibrant spirit of the French Riviera. The performance, filled with lively choreography, dramatic lighting, and a mix of classic and contemporary music, perfectly captured the essence of Riviera chic.

Day Three: Retro Riviera - A Peachy-Pink Pool Party

The third day brought a nostalgic touch with our “Retro Riviera” theme, a peachy-pink pool party that transported guests back to the golden age of the Côte d’Azur. Our florals and decor captured this spirit beautifully with pastel hues and vintage charm, creating a chic and vibrant poolside experience.

Our vibrant Bougainvillea vines, reflexed Roses domes resembling retro swimming caps, Pampas grass, and dried Strelitzia leaves all combined to create a setting infused with a relaxed yet sophisticated faded glamour. We collaborated with ELAN Artists to bring the entertainment to life, ensuring that every detail, from the florals to the music, echoed the glamour and style of a bygone era. ELAN Artists added a unique touch by having immersive  entertainers adorned in chic Côte d’Azur poolside outfits, strolling through the event with vintage cameras, capturing the essence of the day. Their presence, coupled with the nostalgic decor, made the Retro Riviera theme a vivid and immersive experience that perfectly celebrated the timeless allure of the Riviera.

 
Day Three: Starlit Serenade – A Night Among The Stars

The final evening aboard Ilma culminated in a mesmerising “Starlit Serenade.” Under a sparkling sky, our decor transformed the yacht into a celestial wonderland. Violets, purples, and gold accents evoked the celestial night sky, with flowers such as Hydrangeas, Phalaenopsis Orchids and Anthuriums adding a touch of cosmic elegance.

The use of mediums such as violet-tinted glass, twinkling lights, and iridescent elements created an immersive experience that left guests spellbound. This enchanting night was a true celebration of the magic of the stars, bringing the voyage to a perfect, dreamlike conclusion.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented team at Intricate Creations, who brought our vision to life with their exquisite stationery and bar menus for each event aboard. Their use of colour, texture, and elegant design beautifully captured the essence of our themes, adding a layer of sophistication that elevated both the ambiance and the guest experience. The seamless integration of their artistic craftsmanship into our overall decor truly enhanced each occasion, making every detail feel thoughtful and bespoke.
