March is a month in celebration of women with International Women’s Day on Friday March 8th and Mother’s Day on Sunday March 31st. For these special occasions we’ve created some fabulously feminine designs to meet all the tastes and styles of the dynamic 21st century woman, as well as for Persian New Year and Arab Mother’s Day on the first day of spring, March 21st. Neill tells us about the inspiration and sourcing for his exquisite designs.

Sourcing flowers in Holland for our Spring Collection 2019

Everyone loves spring time! It means the end of winter and summer is that bit closer. I love the flowers and plants of all four seasons but spring is the most prolific, particularly when I go on my sourcing visits to Holland. The bulb fields, now full of not just Tulips, but Daffodils, Narcissi and Hyacinths creating bands of colour as far as the eye can see, make my research for our Spring Collection all the more of an experience.

After all the red Roses of Valentine’s Day, the next big date in the diary is International Women’s Day. The tradition for this important celebration is Mimosa and hence I have created a range of designs incorporating the yellow flowers of Mimosa with the pink and purple hues of spring… Renunculus, Lilac, Tulips and Viburnum are combined with Roses, Eustoma and one of my favourite Phalaenopsis Orchids, Golden Treasure.
