Introducing our Florist's Choice Friday Flower Delivery Service

Neill has introduced a weekly delivery service throughout London of fabulous fresh flowers and plants. In this blog post he explains how he is sourcing the most exquisite flowers and Orchids from his extraordinary growers to create a Florist’s Choice bouquet, a Peony bouquet and a Phalaenopsis Orchid planter which will vary weekly. Fragranced candles are also available nationwide via courier service. Clients will receive £10 off their first online order.

I have always believed that flowers have an almost magical power to uplift the spirits and give joy in a way that is different from all other pleasures. That’s one of the factors that led me to choose to work with flowers as a career, to be able to share this joy with others. During these difficult times, a simple bouquet of exquisite, fresh flowers or a stunning plant in one’s home gives a feeling of hope, happiness and general well-being; a reminder of the beauty and perfection of nature beyond the current crisis.

Our growers, who are obviously suffering like most businesses due to the world-wide lockdown, are making incredible efforts to provide us with absolutely exceptional blooms so that our weekly bouquet really showcases their love and dedication to their metier. I am feeling most grateful to be able to create something special for my clients each week with these flowers, especially with the arrival of the late spring and summer varieties such as Peonies, Garden Roses, Spray Roses, Sweet Peas, all so fragrant and so beautiful, as well as many, many more.

Peony season is something that I and many others look forward to all year round and this week marks the beginning of the 2020 season. What a joy! Perhaps the most majestic of flowers, these incredibly full and fluffy blooms are now appearing in a growing palette of colours that is quite euphoric.

Peonies. My challenge will be to choose my favourite each week from amongst dozens of truly extraordinary varieties. In early May there are Dutch Peonies from the glasshouses, along with outdoor Peonies from Spain and France where the temperatures are more temperate. By mid to the end of May the Dutch outdoor Peonies become available… To me they are all divine!
